In April of 2021 we welcomed Harry & Portia Baker to our Oxfordshire showroom. In need of updating their pool coping and surround Director Jack Wells spent time understanding what there requirements were and to what aesthetic look they were trying to create. Very quickly they were drawn to our Lambelle Anitco Limestone, a dense Egyptian limestone.
The following week Jack drove down to Surrey for a site visit with the Baker's instructed pool company (Buckland Pools) and builder in charge of the project, Kieron of K Crumley Construction.
Upon inspection it was clear the current coping wasn't all that old but was not suitable to be around a chemical swimming pool, concerning considering a well known Hampshire supplier had sold it to them.
With measurements taken of the pool, steps inside and some terrace areas, Oxford Stone went away and started creation of Bespoke Lambelle coping, bespoke due to the fact the customer required a size bigger than our stocked bullnose coping, along with some larger steps for entering the pool.
While in fabrication Harry asked if we could create some skimmers and light boxes in the same product (trying to avoid the plastic white monstrosities). of course we obliged and can be seen below. We we're also asked about a separate patio area in which we supplied our popular Wells Ocra Sandstone but in a premium thickness (25-40mm)
Delivered on a dedicated moffat offload, the client was very pleased with the final outcome and so were we, transforming people's gardens and pools is the reason to why we're the premier suppliers of natural stone & porcelain.
